Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Fundația Sunflower (Arcadia Montessori) collects through the arcadiamontessori.ro website, why we use it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It applies to visitors to the site and to parents who contact us through the site.
The data of children enrolled at the kindergarten and of their families is processed separately, based on the information provided at enrolment.

1. Who we are
The data controller is Fundația Sunflower, with its registered office at Strada Arcadei nr. 2–4, Corbeanca, Ilfov County, 077065, Romania, tax ID 34374921, represented by Alina Umbreș, administrator. The Arcadia Montessori kindergarten is run by Fundația Sunflower.

2. What data we collect
Data you send us: name, phone number, email address and the content of your message, when you call us, email us, write to us on WhatsApp or book a visit. If you tell us your child's age or the group you are interested in, we also keep this information.
Technical browsing data: pages visited, visit duration, type of device and browser, approximate city and the source of the visit (for example, an ad on Facebook). We collect it only if you accept measurement cookies.
Interactions on the site: clicks on the phone, email and WhatsApp buttons, together with the page they were clicked on. We use them to know how many enquiries we receive and where they come from.
We do not collect sensitive data through the site, such as data about a child's health.

We do not make automated decisions with legal effects on you and we do not sell data to anyone.
4. Cookies and measurement tools
We use measurement cookies only if you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you click Decline, the site works normally and we do not load Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.

How to withdraw consent: click “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page and choose Decline. You can also delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

5. Who we share data with
Data only reaches the providers we need for the site and our communication with you to work:
- Website hosting: NAV Communications S.R.L., Romania
- Measurement and ads: Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel), only with your consent
- Communication: WhatsApp (Meta) and our email provider, when you write to us on these channels
- Public authorities, only when required by law
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Union, including to the USA. Transfers are made on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long we keep data

After these periods, we delete or anonymise the data.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right:
- to find out what data we hold about you and receive a copy (right of access);
- to ask for incorrect data to be corrected;
- to ask for data to be deleted;
- to ask for processing to be restricted;
- to receive your data in a format that is easy to pass on to someone else (portability);
- to object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- to withdraw your consent at any time, for example from “Cookie settings”.
For any of these requests, write to us at contact@arcadiamontessori.ro. We will reply within one month at most.
If you believe we have infringed your rights, you can file a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, Bucharest, www.dataprotection.ro.
8. Children's data and security
The site is aimed at parents, not children. We do not ask through the site for data about children's health, development or other sensitive details. Photos in the gallery are published only with the written consent of the parents.
We protect data through a secure connection (HTTPS), access to messages limited to the staff who handle enrolment, and strong passwords on the accounts we use.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when we change the tools on the site or when the law changes. The date of the last update appears above.
