Events at Arcadia
At Arcadia, community means more than the children and the teachers. It also means their families. That is why, throughout the school year, we all come together five times, at events designed for children and parents alike.
These are moments when children show the place where they grow every day, parents get to know each other and families become part of the life of the kindergarten.
Events of the year
Opening of the school year
The first community gathering, at the start of every year.
Autumn Fair
Outdoor workshops, pumpkins, a campfire and seasonal food.
Christmas Journey at Arcadia
The magic of the winter holidays, experienced together with the children.
Spring Fair
We welcome spring with activities for children and parents.
End of school year event
Each year has a different theme: in 2025–2026 it was Childhood Games.
Seminars for parents
Alongside the events, every year we hold four seminars for parents, each lasting about an hour and a half. They are meetings where you learn more about the Montessori approach and what the child experiences at each stage, so you can continue at home what we begin together at the kindergarten.
Participation in events and seminars is included in the enrolment fee.
